As Dutch people we were not welcome, a pity, but understandable.

We had a great Sunday breakfast, which leaves nothing to be desired! The staff is always very helpful and nice! I always like to book a room in the hotel when I'm in Vreden!

The food is special and the service really good.

Nice base for a walk, just across the border in Germany. The walk in the area passes the flamingos, who camp here in summer ...

What a nice, friendly waiter, the young man from Rekken! Delicious eaten too!

Friendly staff (Dutch/German/English spoken)

Had a nice afternoon. After delicious coffee and cake we went for a walk nearby and looked at wild flamingos. Then back for dinner. Fast and attentive service with an eye for the essentials. A small sympathetic conversation with the waitress and then the food came. It was served almost simultaneously for everyone so that we could all eat together. We are happy to come back ..

Warm up on the terrace today to eat. We were very close to serving the drinks. My son had ordered spaghetti Bolognese, but then received penne with tomato sauce. When asked about it, egg shrugged.

As we drove past, the beautiful outside terrace was still luring. We didn't know the unfriendly staff there. After we disinfected our hands, as it was posted on a sign at the entrance, we looked for an outside table. Then the staff came into play. A young woman, who looked unfriendly even under the mask, stormed towards us and instructed us very unkindly that we had to wait at the entrance, as it says on the sign. After we informed her that there was no such sign, she continued to be unfriendly and said: "Then you know it for the future". After this instruction we decided to just drink something and not to eat as planned. At this point I'll make it short. My cola tasted good, my wife's glass smelled a bit strange and the cola tasted that way too. Anyone who believes at this point that nothing can go wrong in a restaurant after eating is being instructed here. After I asked for the bill, the same young lady told us that in addition to the advertised price, she had to take an 8% surcharge because of Corona. Something should be announced beforehand and not only after consumption. In one point, however, I have to agree with the operation. I know about the future.

The staff were very friendly. Own baked bread to buy. Big breakfast for the whole day. Wonderful walks and bike paths along the flamingo route. Go there again.

I love it. The breakfast buffet on Sunday is simply awesome. The food is absolutely recommendable and the homemade cakes, breads and rolls are simply sensational.

It was very beautiful. The ambience is built of very rustic oak beams. The service was very friendly. The food my wife and I had was very good. Praise to the kitchen. I can only recommend this restaurant. It is very easy to reach, right on the Dutch border and on a Venn recreation area also suitable for holidays.

The service was professional without being friendly. The food was very nice however and you can eat in a nice patio. If in the area you can do worse than eat here.

we hsd a conference an stayed one night.

Small outdated rooms, friendly staff. They have a good restaurant but no menu in English, only German... The beds are ok, but the entire building is verry noisy so don't expect a good nights sleep! I hope they are the cheapest in the area.

We ate ice cream with fresh strawberries and it was very delicious. The service was also good!
